How Do We Know When an Acute Remedy is Working?

We, of course, look for an improvement in the symptom(s) we are treating. But we also look for improvements in the person’s general mood and energy level. Another positive response is that the person often will fall asleep. This is a good sign and tells us their body is starting to heal.

Interestingly, we often will notice these improvements in the person’s mood and energy before we see an improvement in their physical symptoms. They may sit up or move around after they’ve been lying down. Or they may ask for a drink or some food after not wanting any. It seems they can “tolerate” the symptoms better than they could before the remedy. This tends to be a good indicator that the physical symptoms will soon improve as well.

I hope this is helpful. Let me know what questions you might have.
